Serbisyo Caravan in Maasim kicks off at Pananag

MAASIM, Sarangani – Residents of Barangay Pananag participate in the conduct of the government’s Serbisyo Caravan para sa Sarangan on December 2 at Pananag Elementary School. After its 8-month long hiatus due to the spike of Covid-19 cases, the Serbisyo Caravan has resumed in the barangays in Maasim with the goal of bringing in government services to previous conflict-affected barangays. The Serbisyo Caravan is part of the Retooled Community Support Program (RSCP)- one of the national government’s mechanisms in implementing Executive Order 70 or the Whole-of-Nation Approach to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) to address the motivation for insurgency. The Serbisyo Caravan in Maasim kicked off at Barangay Pananag, one of the several Moro-populated barangays in Maasim.
