Peace Journalism is an approach to news coverage and reporting that emphasizes analysis, understanding, creative solutions, and compromise over us-vs-them, win-lose frames frequently employed in reporting, particularly when reporting about conflicts. Advocates of peace journalism assert that this model facilitates greater understanding of issues, and encourages audiences to appreciate their complexities, and explores avenues for peaceful non-violent responses.
